This collection was inspired by the Kakadu National Park, found in the Northern Australian Territory about 93 miles east of Darwin. The land of Kakadu has been home to the Indigenous Aboriginal People for over 50,000 years. It has plentiful waterfalls, wetlands, and a myriad of vegetation and wildlife. These waterfalls can be seen in Josephine's bird paintings under Australian Birds.
Josephine wanted to reflect her awe of the dramatic scenery, so she decided to paint this limited collection. Shown below.
